Chimeira - Base and Brushes

I've decided on using an eagle as the base for my chimeira. I figured the feathers would be a bit of a tedious task, but I have a few ideas of how to speed the process along without losing quality.

One of which is brushes! I have converted some of the stationary I plan to use into a brush set containing 7 brushes (including one default adjustable brush). Naturally I cant really use brushes only for my Chimeira, and there will still be a lot of manual placement to be done, but the brushes may add a nice element to the overall design.
